Implementing Water Integrated Resource Management
In partnership with PROTOS and UGAMA, COFORWA is implementing an aspect of integrated water resource management (gestion intégrée des ressources en eau: GIRE) ranging from participatory planning of different actors, managing water as vulnerable resource that has however economic value and highlighting women's role in decision making around water. Hence in additional to supplying water for domestic and agriculture, other aspects are being concerned namely environment conservation, rain water harvesting, sanitation (that are environment friendly), hygiene promotion, etc. The approaches like Research and Actions are being implemented for learning and improvement.
